Although BJP got the highest seat count in Karnataka elections, but didn’t make it to the majority and now it has been subject to many acquisitions. Some blame them for faulty EVM and nowh JD(s) leader Mr. Kumaraswamy has alleged that the BJP had offered Rs 100 crore in cash and cabinet positions to lawmakers of the Janata Dal Secular.
The BJP has approached 32 lawmakers but “none of my MLAs agreed”, said Mr Kumaraswamy.
Mr Kumaraswamy, however, said: “I have been offered from both sides. I am not saying thisloosely.”
“I want people to sataka people to understand what is happening. They have all the money in Delhi. BJP had given MLAs crores of money to get to power,” said Mr Kumaraswamy.
The BJP emerged as the winner in Karnataka elections but fell short of 8 seats to get complete majority. Both congress & BJP will be looking to join hands & form their government in the state.
Rejecting Mr Kumaraswamy’s allegations, union minister Prakash Javadekar said, “the 100 crore figure is imaginary, we aren’t into horsetrading of any kind.”
