Indian Twitterati celebrate “World Heritage Day”
April 18 is celebrated as World Heritage Day, also known as the International Day for Monuments and Sites. It is celebrated since 1982.
This decision was taken by the International Council on Monuments and Sites. The decision was approved by the United Nations.The main aim was to increase awareness about the rich heritage history of the world.
India has 36 world heritage sites as of now, as approved by the UNESCO.
