BSF Jawan loses 7 days pay because he forgot to use “Shri” before PM Narendra Modi’s name.

In a bizarre punishment, a BSF jawan who forgot to use ‘honourable’ or ‘Shri’ while referring to our .countires Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been penalised by the force, calling the mistake as a “disrespect” to the Prime Minister. Because of which the jawan was handed a 7 day pay cut.
The incident took place on February 21 inside the BSF’s 15th Battalion headquarters in Mahatpur, Nadia (West Bengal), during the zero parade, a routine exercise to account for jawans’ daily activities.
The commanding officer of the battalion, Commandant Anup Lal Bhagat, decided to take disciplinary action against Kumar & was found “guilty” under Section 40 of the BSF Act.
