An incident from Delhi has come in the light in which a 42-year-old man was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly shot dead his eight-year-old son in a celebratory firing.
The incident is from Delhi’s New Usmanpur as reported by the police.
This is the 2 incident within a span of few days, just a few days back a woman architect died when a former JD(U) leader fired celebratory shots in the air during a New Year’s eve party at his farm house in Fatehpur Beri. This is the 2nd such reported accident in a span of few days.
“During investigation, the child’s father emerged as the prime suspect,” Atul Kumar Thakur, Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast), said.
The bullet hit the son on his right cheek and the child died when he was being taken to the hospital.
